1.拿金幣
有三種拿金幣的方法：一、走過去直接吃，二、用游標點金幣，三、直接搖鈴鐺把附近的金幣吸過來
2.隱藏懷舊圖與金幣：
在畫面中會像星星一樣閃亮的地方都可以搖鈴，例如第一關寶箱前的樹有閃光處有錢可拿。遊戲中每關都懷舊人物的8位元圖，通常是在閃光處，可以在書櫃中的裡看你已找到的懷舊圖。 
3.音樂盒骷髏(小遊戲)
黃金骷髏頭巴爾巴洛斯有一個部下叫做「骷髏交響樂團」，他也被詛咒變成骷髏，在某些關卡可以看見他的頭埋在泥土中(如咆哮哥布林之笛關中，寶箱柱子的後方)，只要靠近他甩鈴鐺就可以把他從土裡挖出來。但寶藏他不會立刻給你，這個交響樂團會要求你演奏一些曲子，用揮舞WIIMOTE的方式來打節拍，有點類似雷曼兔裡的音樂小遊戲，只要正確率超過一定標準，他就會給你寶箱。演奏的音樂，都是早期的卡普空電玩音樂，例如魔界村的配樂。
基本上是在鐘形符號時揮一下remote，在連續" VVVVV "的符號時持續揮remote, 在沒有符號時"不能"動remote。這個小遊戲非常難，remote感應不良且判定超嚴,過不去是正常的，因為音樂小遊戲是不算分的，失敗不會扣分，建議過關後再玩。還有拿過一次就好，重玩該關只會拿到空的寶箱(自己重玩森林大水池音樂盒三次，只有第一次有圖，後來都是空的)。
4.提示天使與復活
遊戲中有提示天使，不過要錢，而且越來越貴，所以如果要節省用，請在卡關時馬上用，用完後在過關前reset重玩(就是不要過關存檔啦)，數量就不會減少。尤其是後面幾關太難了(只會是很容易死，死了又要重玩前面的動作，當卡到受不了這個天使很有用，看不懂日文看圖也可以猜一猜..(雖然有時候沒用就是了)。
5.自動存檔
遊戲後是在完成關卡與離開到主畫面時自動存檔，因此為了保險起見，請要離開遊戲時，在大本營按"+"鍵，選回到主畫面再關機。

6.二周目英文提示翻譯 (給看不懂日/英文的玩家)
一周目破關之後，紅鬍子海盜會說他在世界各地都藏有寶箱要你找找看，然後在書架上的最右邊的一本書會多出一個選項，而這個選項就是有關隱藏寶箱的提示啦。因為我玩英文版，所以用英文翻中文，日文版意思大同小異。
